Roles and Responsibilities

Dear Candidate,

We are hiring for Life insurance company for Unclaimed Process channel.

we need experience in managing suspense/unclaimed claims by lowering it through different strategies.

Salary - upto 20 LPA

Designation Sr Manager - Process

Job location - Mumbai

Purpose of the Job:

Involved and responsible for reduction of unclaimed claims. Ensure adherence within standard SLAs and TAT, ensure quality of processing, identify risks and ensure adequate monitoring mechanism, lead the team towards optimal operational efficiency, ensure timely reporting and compliance on all regulatory matters.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Operations Metrics:

Handling the complete Unclaimed Process

Work on strategies to ensure that the unclaimed numbers are reduced and prevent new additions to the unclaimed bucket.

Engage with various stake holders/Banking partners to increase customer contractibility and to increase electronic payouts.

Coordinate with internal and external departments to reduce Unclaimed amount

Preparation of Monthly/Quarterly Unclaimed MIS reports as per regulatory guidelines and management requirement

Initiatives and Projects:

Be a part of Functional/Strategic initiatives

Ensuring adherence of TAT

Ensure continuous process improvement by constantly looking at introducing automation initiatives such as RPA and other tools in order to eliminate non value adds. Projects of CSPS and Life Asia for Life and Health.

Ensure continued focus on process efficiency; cost optimisation, digitisation initiatives etc.


Lead the teams towards the desired goals and drive ESAT and CSAT scores for the unit and function

Relationship management across key functions such as Sales, Process, Audit, BS&T, Legal, Products at Corporate office and branches.

Candidate Overview

Overall 10 plus years of relevant work experience in managing unclaimed, of which 4 plus years minimum should be with a Life Insurance Company.

Awareness of Insurance basics (Life and Health).

Team handling capabilities.

Initiating drives to improve on business and operational parameters.

Exposure to projects on Risk Identifications in Insurance Industry
